About

About

PremiereMinistar began with a simple observation: the information a newcomer needs is scattered, and rarely written for them. Official websites explain the rules. Nobody explains the life around the rules — the first winter, the first bank account, the first soccer team, the first time it feels like home.

Jospin Wally

Founder, PremiereMinistar · Immigration legal support · Montréal

I arrived in Canada like many of our readers: with a file to build, a language to get used to, and very few landmarks. I learned the process from the inside, in its details and its traps. Today I help other newcomers understand it and build their life here.

My work is immigration legal support: file preparation, document organization, forms, translations, deadline tracking and communication with you at every step. My approach is built on clarity, rigour and a human presence throughout.

Who does what — in full transparency

In Canada, only an authorized person may be paid to advise or represent someone before IRCC. We want that distinction to be perfectly clear before you entrust us with anything.

  • The instructed lawyer, a member in good standing of the Barreau du Québec, leads the consultation, provides legal advice, signs and files your application, and represents you before IRCC and the Québec authorities. Their name, membership number and contact details are given to you in writing before any mandate begins, in the professional agreement you sign with them. You can verify their registration at any time in the Barreau du Québec public roll.
  • PremiereMinistar (Jospin) provides legal support: file preparation, forms, documents, translations, follow-up and communication, under the lawyer’s supervision.
  • Professional fees are billed by the mandated firm, under a written agreement provided before the mandate begins.

This structure is not a formality — it is what protects your file. Be wary of anyone billing you for advice without being authorized; we explain how to verify in five minutes in our guide to ghost consultants.

What we do beyond immigration

An approved application is not an ending, it is a beginning. That is why PremiereMinistar is also a magazine: fashion, music, sports and practical life. Because a new life is more than forms.

  • Immigration — guides, news and file support
  • Fashion — dressing for winter, class and interviews, plus our styling consultations
  • Music — the local scene and our monthly playlist
  • Sports — fields, leagues and the PremiereMinistar soccer team
  • Journal — what changes, and what it changes for you
