The eligible diploma
Not every program opens the door to the PEQ, and the institution matters as much as the diploma itself. It is the first thing to verify — ideally before you even enrol.
The French level
The PEQ requires proof of French proficiency, obtained through a recognized test or an eligible academic path. Plan several months ahead: test seats fill up fast.
The work experience
Depending on the stream, a period of work experience in Québec may be required. The nature of the position and its classification code matter as much as the duration.
